Sudanese Children Heart Society is a charity group (Nongovernmental Organization) established in May 2012 and registered at the Sudanese Ministry of Social Affairs (Registration number 3482).

Supporting children with heart disease and their families, Recruiting social and financial help to children with heart disease and help establishing services for children with heart disease in Sudan.

Sudan's Hand Held Echo Study (SHES) - Phase II Starting

Trainig-of-medical-officersSHES completed Phase I by screening 3000 school children  in Khartoum. Phase II is starting August 8 /2016 in Niyala ,South Darfur  led by Drs.Bahja Abbo and Khalid Al Awad. Training of physicians on using hand held V scans and an awareness workshop for health promoters were conducted in Niyala in camps of displaced people where screening is going to be done. (2 PHOTOS). Of note, the study is funded by Sudan's Ministry of Higher Education and V scans donated by the Sudanese American Medical Associatoin (SAMA)
