Sudanese Children Heart Society is a charity group (Nongovernmental Organization) established in May 2012 and registered at the Sudanese Ministry of Social Affairs (Registration number 3482).

General Objective

Supporting children with heart disease and their families, Recruiting social and financial help to children with heart disease and help establishing services for children with heart disease in Sudan.

In October, the Pan African Society of Cardiology held its annual conference in Khartoum, together with Sudan Heart Society and Pan African Catheter Intervention Course  (PAFCIC). The Pan African Pediatric Cardiology Group held a one day meeting where many abstracts were presented. Dr.Intisar Ibrahim, pediatric cardiogloy fellow wined the Best Abstract Prize. Dr.Saher Ali, won the second best poster prize.

Dr.Intisar Ibrahim was awarded the Best Abstract Prize by Dr.Liezel Zohlki from South Africa.

Dr.Sahar Ali presented an abstract about Knowledge and Practice of Physicians about Rheumatic Heart Disease Management Protocols
